Luc, I will participate in this workshop. We are currently building workflow support for three science projects: i) HIV research, ii) NEPTUNE and an astronomy project called Pan-STARRS. Will bring our feedback from this experience. roger roger barga | architect | technical computing AT microsoft | o ↵ 425.706.2064 | 99/4608 | barga AT microsoft.com -----Original Message----- From: owner-provenance-challenge AT ipaw.info ↵ [mailto:owner-provenance-challenge AT ipaw.info] On Behalf Of Luc Moreau Sent: Thursday, May 01, 2008 1:19 PM To: provenance-challenge AT ipaw.info Subject: [provenance-challenge] OPM workshop: towards Provenance Challenge 3 All, Back in December, we released the first version of the Open Provenance Model (OPM). Teams have commented on the document, have recently published papers related to OPM, or have begun implementation work around OPM. It would be beneficial for the community to share this experience in a focused workshow, with the following goals: - share feedback on the OPM specification - share practical experience with OPM - identify issues to be addressed in second draft of the OPM (or other documents) - plan an inter-operability activity (provenance challenge 3) based on OPM We are proposing to hold this workshop on Thursday June 19th, in Salt Lake City, right after IPAW'2008. By return of email, could you express you interest in participating to this workshop. Please also indicate issues you would like to discuss. Organisational details will follow.
