Hi All, We (the VisTrails team) have made some progress. Instead of translating the provenance data, we are constructing a general API to access different provenance repositories. So far, we have implemented bindings of the API for VisTrails and Taverna. Details of the API will be posted shortly on the Twiki. Right now, we have a rough description at: http://www.vistrails.org/index.php/Provenance_challenge An issue we encountered is how to interpret (and implement) some of the queries in different systems. For example: T) Query T) 4. Find all invocations of procedure align_warp using a twelfth order T) nonlinear 1365 parameter model that ran on a Monday. T) there does not exist a procedure named align_warp. T) Taverna uses a beanshell processor with a script to execute the align_warp. T) The modules are named align_warp1,2,3 and 4. T) What you really want is to search for a beanshell processor with the align_warp script. T) But the script is not in the log How did the Taverna group handle this query in the 1st Challenge?
